PPTX là định dạng bản trình bày của Microsoft PowerPoint từ Office 2007 trở đi. Nó lưu trữ slide, hoạt ảnh, chuyển tiếp, speaker note và theme dưới dạng gói ZIP chứa XML.

Tệp PPTX là ZIP chứa các phần XML: slide, bố cục slide, slide master, theme (DrawingML) và nội dung đa phương tiện. Mỗi slide có cây hình dạng (shape tree) với hộp văn bản, hình ảnh, biểu đồ và kết nối.
